you feel bad for the person, I feel bad for the traction control system...

But are you in the land of shitty drivers in dented Camrys, beige Corollas, and leased 320i xDrive/C300 4MATICs?
![]() 01/07/2018 at 12:56 |

That’s when you just turn it off and let the wheelspin happen

I’m in the land of cars that probably should have been retired from use 8 years ago.

I challenge you to drive in Vancouver, then you’ll see bad drivers

That car is too precious to be used without traction control in public roads.
That car deserves an idiot-proof track

After living in Toronto and Saskatoon, gonna have to say Toronto drivers aren’t the worst in the world, there’s just a lot of them.

DD’ing a badly parked Volvo? Bravo, sir

Quebec drivers are the worst.

Alberta and Saskatchewan drivers are also contenders. Quebec drivers aren’t the worst , just incredibly aggressive from my experience.

Did you know there is actually a show called “Canada’s Worst Driver” on Netflix? Also a similar series called, “Canada’s Worst Handyman”.
They’re pretty funny to watch but also cringeworthy.

The series is actually owned by Discovery Channel.

That explains the cinematography or lack-thereof.

British Columbians are also pretty bad.

Kelowna too. Actually, the whole province of BC more or less.

yeah, they don’t give a fuck I’ve heard

The GTA isn’t even that bad compared to pretty much anywhere west of Dryden.

Snow tires would help too, but it’s really not that hard to drive without tcs
![]() 01/08/2018 at 10:53 |

Perhaps. Driving without aids as such is becoming a dying art. I personally don’t trust myself without tcs and I only disable it in very limited circumstances, but that might be a byproduct of learning how to drive in cars with it.

It depends on the car too, I leave the tcs on in my vette because the tires are horrible and it’s tried to bite me on wet roads before.
In my Caprice (and the mustang I had before) I turned it off in winter because it was baaad. Like, unable to move in snow because it’s killing the engine bad.

I’d leave it on unless I wanted to induce oversteer. But since I drived the Jeep gc for the last five years, I rarely turned it off. It and the stability system saved my life once in a slick highway corner...
